A little higher in calories than the green smoothie, but still delicious and good for you.
1/2 cup dry, plain oatmeal (put this in the blender first and chop it up a bit)
1/2 cup frozen fruit
1 cup almond milk
3 ice cubes
Recipe also calls for 1/2 cup yogurt and 1 tsp honey, but I left those out and it was still really, really good. With what I put in, it was 356 calories so it might be better as a lunch replacement than a breakfast. I have a tendency to skip lunch if I eat enough breakfast though so it works for me.
Another delicious, healthy smoothie recipe!
My parents don’t usually sleep in the same bed because my mom has terrible insomnia and my dad snores and they’re both fairly light sleepers and what-have-you. Tonight, my grandma is in town for my brother’s orchestra concert tomorrow, so she’s sleeping where my dad normally sleeps and my mom and dad are in their room together. I just walked by their door on my way to grab something and heard them giggling.
I’m sure it’s over a terribly inappropriate joke that I’d never want to hear, but the way they act like teenagers sometimes makes me so happy.
Should I go back to Cub and buy two more tins of raspberries?
